నీనా గుప్తా భారతదేశానికి చెందిన గణిత శాస్త్రవేత్త. ఆమె కోల్ కతా లోని ఇండియన్ స్టాటిస్టికల్ ఇనిస్టిట్యూట్ లోని గణాంక, గణిత శాస్త్ర విభాగంలో అసిస్టెంటు ప్రొఫెసరుగా ఉన్నారు. ఆమెకు యిష్టమైన గణిత విభాగం కమ్యూటేటివ్ ఆల్జీబ్రా , అఫైన్ ఆల్జీబ్రా జామెట్రీ. ఆమె ఐ.ఎస్.ఐ లో, టాటా ఇనిస్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ ఫండమెంటల్ రీసెర్చ్ లో విజిటింగ్ ప్రొఫెసరుగా పనిచేసారు.
2006లో ఆమె బెటూన్ కళాశాల నుండి గణిత శాస్త్రంలో గ్రాడ్యుయేషన్ పూర్తిచేసారు. 2008 లో ఐ.ఎస్.ఐ నుండి గణిత శాస్త్రంలో పోస్టు గ్రాడ్యుయేషన్ చేసారు.[1] తరువాత ఆమె పి.హెచ్.డి ని 2011 లో ఆల్జీబ్రా జామెట్రీ విభాగంలో పూర్తిచేసారు. ఆమె పి.హెచ్.డిని ప్రొఫెసర్ అమర్త్య కుమార్ దత్తా అధ్వర్యంలో పూర్తి చేసారు.[2] ఆమె యొక్క పి.హెచ్.డి లో "లారెంట్ పోలినామియల్స్ లో కొన్ని ఫలితాలు", "ఖాసీ ఎ. ఆల్జీబ్రాస్" పై పరిశోధనలు చేసారు.[3]
ఆమెకు 2014 లో ఇండియన్ నేషనల్ సైన్స్ అకాడమీ నుండి యంగ్ సైంటిస్టు పురస్కారం లభించింది.[4] ఈ పురస్కారం జారిస్కీ కాన్సిలేషన్ సమస్యపై చేసిన సాధనకు గానూ అందజేసారు. [5] ఆమె కంజెక్చర్ పై చేసిన కృషికి గానూ సరస్వతీ కౌశిక్ మెడల్ ను 2013 లో అందుకున్నారు. దీనిని టి.ఐ.ఎఫ్.ఆర్ పూర్వ విద్యార్థుల అసోసియేషన్ అందజేసింది. [6] అభివృద్ధి చెందుతున్న దేశాలకు చెందిన యువ గణిత శాస్త్రవేత్తలకు ఇచ్చే రామానుజన్ బహుమతిని 2021 లో నీనా గుప్తా అందుకుంది.[7]
