ప్రసాద్ వి. పొట్లూరి (జ.సెప్టెంబరు 8, 1970) (పి.వి.పిగా సుపరిచితుడు) సీరియల్ వ్యవస్థాపకుడు, లోకోపకారి, విద్యావేత్త. [3][4] ఆయన పూర్తి పేరు పొట్లూరి వరప్రసాద్. ఆయన స్వంతంగా పి.వి.పి సినిమా అనే పేరుతో ప్రొడక్షన్ కంపెనీని ప్రారంభించాడు. పివిపి సినిమా బేనర్‌పై ఇప్పటి వరకు తమిళం, తెలుగులో పలు భారీ సినిమాలు నిర్మించాడు. ఇటీవల రాజమౌళి దర్శకత్వంలో వచ్చిన 'ఈగ' చిత్రాన్ని తమిళంలో 'నాన్ఈ' పేరుతో పివిపి సినిమా వారు ప్రొడ్యూస్ చేసాడు.

గ్లోబల్ అవుట్ సోర్సింగ్ సర్వీసు రంగంలోని సీరియల్ వ్యవస్థాపకునిగా ఆయన మూడు కంపెనీలను విజయవంతంగా నిర్మించి వాటిని "ఫోర్టూన్ 1000 మార్కెట్ ప్లేస్" యొక్క అవసరాలను తీర్చడానికి అమ్మారు.[5] [6] గ్లోబల్ ఇన్వెస్టుమెంటు సమాజంలో ఆయన గౌరవ ప్రథమైన నాయకుడు.

ఆ వ్యవస్థాపక-ప్యాక్ దశాబ్దంలో, అతను ప్రోకాన్, ఓరియన్ కంపెనీ ఎల్ ఎల్ సి, ఐరెవ్నా లిలిటెడ్[7] [8][9]వంటి అనేక సంస్థల వెనుక చోదక శక్తిగా ఉన్నాడు.[10] ప్రోకాన్ ఐ.ఎన్.సి టెక్నాలజీస్ ను 1998 లో కొనుగోలు చేసాడు. [20] ఈ సంస్థల్ రియాల్టీ, మీడియా, స్పోర్ట్స్, ఎంటర్‌టైన్‌మెంటు రంగాలలో ఇన్వెస్టుమెంటు ఆసక్తితో నాయకునిగా పరిణమిస్తుంది. ప్రతి వాటాదారునికి ప్రయోజనం కలిగించే ఒక పర్యావరణ వ్యవస్థను సృష్టించే దిశగా వృద్ధి చెందుతోంది.[21][22][23] పివిపి బహిరంగంగా వర్తకం చేసే వ్యాపార సంస్థ. ఇది 35,000 మంది షేర్ హోల్డర్లతో BSE, [24] NSE[25] & LSE[26] పై ట్రేడింగ్ చేస్తుంది. జూలై 2010లో పి.వి.పి గ్రూపు భారతీయ మీడియా&ఎంటర్‌టైన్‌మెంటు రంగంలో "పిక్చర్‌హౌస్ మీడియా లిమిటెడ్" ద్వారా అడుగు పెట్టింది. ఇది భారతీయ ఎంటర్‌టైన్‌మెంటు పరిశ్రమ యొక్క ఆర్థిక అవసరాలకు తోడ్పాటు అందించే భారతదేశంలో అతిపెద్ద వ్యవస్థీకృత మీడియా కేపిటల్ హౌస్.

పి.హె.ఎం.ఎల్ ప్రస్తుతం సినిమా నిర్మాణ రంగంలో పి.వి.పి సినిమా బ్యానర్ తో అడుగిడింది. అది దేశంలో అతి పెద్ద నిర్మాణ సంస్థ.[27][28][29][30]

ప్రసాద్ వి. పొట్లూరి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లోని విజయవాడ నగరంలో రాఘవేంద్రరావు, మంగతారా దేవి దంపతులకు జన్మించాడు. విజయవాడలోని ఎన్.ఎస్.ఎం పబ్లిక్ పాఠశాలలో పాఠశాల విద్యనభ్యసించిన తరువాత నాగార్జున విశ్వవిద్యాలయం నుండి మెకానికల్ ఇంజనీరింగులో బ్యాచిలర్స్ డిగ్రీని పొందాడు.

ఆయన భార్త ఝాన్సీ సురెడ్డి. ఆయన పిల్లలు పెరల్, పరమ్‌.
