లీనా యాదవ్ (జననం 1971, జనవరి 6) భారతదేశ సినిమా దర్శకురాలు, నిర్మాత, స్క్రీన్ ప్లే రచయిత, ఎడిటర్. టెలివిజన్ రంగంలో తన జీవితాన్ని ప్రారంభించిన లీనా, తరువాత సినిమారంగంలోకి వచ్చింది. లీనా మొదటి అంతర్జాతీయ చలనచిత్రం, పర్చెడ్, 2015లో టొరంటో ఇంటర్నేషనల్ ఫిల్మ్ ఫెస్టివల్‌లో ప్రదర్శించబడింది.[1][2]

జననం, విద్య

లీనా యాదవ్ 1971, జనవరి 6న మధ్యప్రదేశ్‌లోని ఇండియన్ ఆర్మీ జనరల్‌కి జన్మించింది. ఢిల్లీలోని శ్రీరామ్ మహిళా కళాశాల నుండి ఎకనామిక్స్ ఆనర్స్‌తో పట్టభద్రురాలైంది. ముంబైలోని సోఫియా కళాశాలలో మాస్ కమ్యూనికేషన్స్ చేసింది.[3][4][5]

హజారోన్ ఖ్వైషీన్ ఐసీ, శబ్ద్, తీన్ పట్టి, ఉ మీ ఔర్ హమ్, చమేలీ వంటి చిత్రాలపై కవితాత్మక చిత్రాలకు ప్రసిద్ధి చెందిన భారతీయ సినిమాటోగ్రాఫర్, నిర్మాత అసీమ్ బజాజ్ (రామ్ గోపాల్ బజాజ్ కుమారుడు)ని వివాహం చేసుకుంది. న మొదటి టీవీ షో దిస్ వీక్ దట్ ఇయర్ కు దర్శకత్వం చేస్తున్నప్పుడు అసీమ్‌ను కలుసుకుంది.[6]

మాస్ కమ్యూనికేషన్స్ బ్యాక్ గ్రౌండ్ లో డిప్లొమాతో పనిచేస్తున్నప్పుడు, ఫిల్మ్ ఎడిటింగ్ నేర్చుకుంది. ఎవరి దగ్గరా అసిస్టెంట్‌గా పని చేయకుండానే ఎడిటింగ్‌లోనే డైరెక్షన్‌, స్క్రిప్ట్‌ రైటింగ్‌ నేర్చుకుంది. 'యాడ్ ఫిల్మ్‌లు' - కార్పొరేట్ షోలు, టెలివిజన్ సీరియల్‌లకు ఎడిటర్‌గా పనిచేస్తున్నప్పుడు, స్టార్ మూవీస్ కోసం ఈ వారం టెలివిజన్ షోకి దర్శకత్వం వహించే అవకాశం వచ్చింది. విజయంతో, స్టార్ బెస్ట్ సెల్లర్స్ కోసం షోలను నిర్మించడానికి, దర్శక్వతం చేయడానికి నిఖిల్ కపూర్‌తో కలిసి ఆమె తన సొంత ప్రొడక్షన్ హౌస్‌ను ప్రారంభించింది.[7][8][9][10]
