టవబోరోల్, బ్రాండ్ పేరు కెరిడిన్ క్రింద విక్రయించబడింది. ఇది గోరు ఫంగల్ ఇన్ఫెక్షన్లకు చికిత్స చేయడానికి ఉపయోగించే యాంటీ ఫంగల్ ఔషధం.[1] గోరుకు పూయడానికి ఉపయోగించబడుతుంది.[1] తేలికపాటి నుండి మితమైన వ్యాధిలో దాని ఉపయోగానికి మద్దతు ఇస్తుంది.[2]
చర్మం చికాకు, ఇన్గ్రోన్ గోరు వంటివి దుష్ప్రభావాలు ఉండవచ్చు.[1] ఇది ప్రోటీన్‌ను తయారు చేయడానికి ఫంగస్‌కు అవసరమైన ఎంజైమ్, ల్యూసిల్-టిఆర్ఎన్ఎ సింథటేజ్‌ను నిరోధించడం ద్వారా పనిచేస్తుంది.[1]
టవబోరోల్ 2014లో యునైటెడ్ స్టేట్స్‌లో వైద్యపరమైన ఉపయోగం కోసం ఆమోదించబడింది.[3] యునైటెడ్ స్టేట్స్‌లో 2021 నాటికి 10 మి.లీ.ల ద్రావణం ధర దాదాపు 1,600 అమెరికన్ డాలర్లు.[4] ఇది కెనడాలో కూడా అందుబాటులో ఉంది కానీ 2018 నాటికి ఐరోపాలో అందుబాటులో లేదు.[5]
