మందన కరిమి (జననం మనీజే కరిమి; 1988 మే 19) భారతదేశంలోని ఒక ఇరానియన్ నటి, మోడల్.[3][4] ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా అనేక విజయవంతమైన మోడలింగ్ ప్రాజెక్ట్‌లలో పనిచేసిన తర్వాత,[5] ఆమె బాలీవుడ్ చిత్రం భాగ్ జానీలో ప్రధాన పాత్రలో నటించింది.[6] 2015లో, ఆమె ప్రముఖ రియాలిటీ టీవీ షో బిగ్ బాస్ 9లో పాల్గొని 2వ రన్నరప్‌గా నిలిచింది.[3]

మందన కరిమి 1988 మే 19న ఇరాన్‌లోని టెహ్రాన్‌లో ముస్లిం కుటుంబంలో జన్మించింది. ఆమె తండ్రి భారతీయ సంతతికి చెందిన ఇరానియన్ కాగా తల్లి పర్షియన్.[7] ఆమె టెహ్రాన్‌లో పెరిగింది.[3]

కెరీర్[మార్చు]

మందన కరిమి ఎయిర్ హోస్టెస్‌గా తన కెరీర్‌ను ప్రారంభించింది, తరువాత మోడలింగ్‌పై తనకున్న ఆసక్తితో ఆ ఉద్యోగాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టింది.[8] 2010లో, వివిధ అంతర్జాతీయ మోడలింగ్ ప్రాజెక్ట్‌లలో పనిచేసిన తర్వాత, మోడలింగ్ కాంట్రాక్ట్‌పై మూడు నెలల పాటు ముంబైకి వచ్చింది.[9]

షారుఖ్ ఖాన్, సైఫ్ అలీ ఖాన్, కరీనా కపూర్, షాహిద్ కపూర్, అర్జున్ కపూర్‌లతో కలసి ఆమె టీవీ ప్రకటనలు చేసింది.[10][11]

ఫిబ్రవరి 2015లో, ఆమె రాయ్ చిత్రంలో అతిథి పాత్రలో కనిపించింది. ఆ తరువాత సంవత్సరం సెప్టెంబర్‌లో ఆమె నటించిన చిత్రం భాగ్ జానీ విడుదలైంది. ఆమె అక్టోబర్ 2015లో మెయిన్ ఔర్ చార్లెస్‌లో కూడా నటించింది, ఇందులో ఆమె చార్లెస్ శోభరాజ్ అసిస్టెంట్ పాత్రను పోషించింది. ఆ తదుపరి సెక్స్ కామెడీ చిత్రం క్యా కూల్ హై హమ్ 3 2016 జనవరి 22న విడుదలైంది.[12][13]

ఆమె పర్షియన్, ఇంగ్లీష్, హిందీ భాషలు అనర్గలంగా మాట్లాడగలదు.[21]

జూలై 2016లో, ఆమె తన ప్రియుడు, ముంబైకి చెందిన భారతీయ వ్యాపారవేత్త గౌరవ్ గుప్తాతో నిశ్చితార్థం చేసుకుంది. తరువాతి సంవత్సరం మార్చి ప్రారంభంలో ఈ జంట కోర్టులో వివాహం చేసుకుంది. ఆ తర్వాత మార్చి 2017లో హిందూ ఆచారం ప్రకారం వివాహం ఘనంగా జరిగింది.[22][23][24]

జూలై 2017లో, ఆమె తన భర్త, అతని కుటుంబ సభ్యులపై గృహ హింస కేసును దాఖలు చేసింది.[25] వారు 2021లో విడాకులు తీసుకున్నారు.
