గోకుల్ సురేష్ (జననం 1993 సెప్టెంబరు 29) మలయాళ చిత్రసీమకు చెందిన భారతీయ నటుడు. ఆయన సినీ నటుడు, రాజకీయ నాయకుడు సురేష్ గోపి కుమారుడు.[1]

ప్రారంభ జీవితం[మార్చు]

మలయాళ నటుడు, మాజీ రాజ్యసభ సభ్యుడు సురేష్ గోపి, రాధికా నాయర్ లకు రెండవ సంతానంగా గోకుల్ 1993 సెప్టెంబరు 29న కేరళలోని తిరువనంతపురంలో జన్మించాడు.[2] ఆయనకు ఇద్దరు చెల్లెళ్ళు భాగ్య సురేష్, భావని సురేష్, ఒక తమ్ముడు మాధవ్ సురేష్ ఉన్నారు.అతని అక్క లక్ష్మి చిన్నతనంలోనే కారు ప్రమాదంలో మరణించింది.[3][4]

గోకుల్ తన ప్రాథమిక స్థాయి విద్య తిరువనంతపురం సెయింట్ థామస్ రెసిడెన్షియల్ స్కూల్ నుండి, సెకండరీ స్థాయి విద్యను కొట్టాయం లోని పల్లికూడం స్కూల్, తిరువనంతపురంలోని సరస్వతి విద్యాలయ నుండి పూర్తి చేసాడు. అతను బెంగళూరు క్రైస్ట్ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం నుండి బిజినెస్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్ లో బ్యాచిలర్ డిగ్రీ పట్టభద్రుడయ్యాడు. కొంతకాలం కార్పొరేట్ ఉద్యోగాలు చేసిన ఆయన నటనపై ఆసక్తితో సినిమాల్లోకి వచ్చాడు.[5]

గోకుల్ తొలి చిత్రం ముధుగౌవ్ లో, అజు వర్గీస్ ను మొదట్లో ప్రధాన పాత్ర పోషించడానికి ఎంపిక చేశారు. కానీ ఈ పాత్రను మరింత దగ్గరిగా ఉండేలా యువ నటుడిని మేకర్స్ కోరుకున్నారు.[6] యువ నటుడి కోసం వెతుకుతున్నప్పుడు వారు నిర్మాత సాండ్రా థామస్ ఫేస్బుక్ స్నేహితుడైన గోకుల్ పై దృష్టి పడింది, ఆపై స్క్రిప్ట్ తో అతనిని సంప్రదించారు. గోకుల్ ముధుగౌవ్ పాత్రలో నటించి మెప్పించాడు.[6]

కెరీర్[మార్చు]

గోకుల్ 2016లో విపిన్ దాస్ దర్శకత్వం వహించిన ముధుగౌవ్ చిత్రంతో నటనలోకి అడుగుపెట్టాడు.[7][8] ఈ చిత్రాన్ని విజయ్ బాబు, సాండ్రా థామస్ సంయుక్తంగా ఫ్రైడే ఫిల్మ్ హౌస్ నిర్మించింది. ఇందులో అతని నటనకు విమర్శకుల ప్రశంసలు అందుకున్నాడు.[9][10][11]

తన రెండవ ప్రయత్నంలో, అతను మమ్ముట్టి నటించిన దర్శకుడు అజయ్ వాసుదేవ్ మాస్టర్ పీస్ (2017) లో సహాయక పాత్ర పోషించాడు.[12] తన ప్రేమికుడిని హత్య చేసినట్లు ఆరోపణలు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న కళాశాల విద్యార్థి ఉన్నికృష్ణన్ పాత్రను గోకుల్ పోషించాడు.[13][14][15]

నటుడిగా, గోకుల్ ఫహద్ ఫాజిల్ కెరీర్ వృద్ధి మార్గాన్ని అనుసరించాలనుకుంటున్నాడు, కొన్ని అంశాలపై ఫహద్ దృక్పథాన్ని ఇష్టపడతాడు.[16]

2018లో, ఆయన దర్శకుడు వైశాఖ్, రచయిత ఉదయకృష్ణ మొదటి సంయుక్త నిర్మాణమైన ఐరా చిత్రంలో నటించాడు. అతను ఉన్ని ముకుందన్ కలిసి ప్రధాన పాత్ర పోషించాడు.[17][18] [19]

2019 ప్రారంభంలో, అతను అరుణ్ గోపి ఇరుపతియోణం నూత్తండులో ప్రణవ్ మోహన్ లాల్ తో కలిసి సాఘవు ఫ్రాంచిగా అతిధి పాత్రలో నటించాడు.[20][21] అతని నటన అతనికి విమర్శకుల నుండి సానుకూల సమీక్షలను సంపాదించింది.[22]

తరువాత గోకుల్, నిరంజ్ మణియన్పిల్ల రాజు, వర్ష బొల్లమ్మ కలిసి అనిల్ రాజ్ ఫ్యామిలీ థ్రిల్లర్ సూత్రక్కరన్ (2019) లో నటించారు. [23] ఆ తరువాత అతను రచయితగా మారిన దర్శకుడు సురేష్ పొడువల్ ఉల్టా చిత్రంలో ప్రయాగ మార్టిన్ తన కథానాయికగా నటించాడు.[24][25]
