చరిత్ర
[మార్చు]అహోం రాజు రుద్ర సింఘా ఈ దేవాలయంలోని విగ్రహాన్ని మేఘల్యాలోని జైంతియా కొండల నుండి అస్సాంలోని అహోం రాజ్యానికి తీసుకువచ్చాడు. తరువాత అహోం రాజు గౌరీనాథ్ సింఘా రాజధానిని రంగ్‌పూర్ (అహోం రాజధాని) నుండి జోర్హాట్‌కు మార్చాడు. 1794లో జోర్హాట్‌లో బుర్హి గోసాని దేవాలయాన్ని స్థాపించాడు.[2][3][4][5][6] దేవాలయంలో ప్రతి సంవత్సరం దుర్గాపూజ వేడుకలు జరుగుతాయి.[7][8]
