లెవమిసోల్, అనేది పరాన్నజీవి పురుగుల ఇన్ఫెక్షన్లకు చికిత్స చేయడానికి ఉపయోగించే ఒక ఔషధం. ప్రత్యేకంగా ఇది అస్కారియాసిస్, హుక్వార్మ్ ఇన్ఫెక్షన్లకు ఉపయోగిస్తారు.[1] దీనిని నోటిద్వారా తీసుకోవాలి.[1]
ఈ మందు వలన పొత్తికడుపు నొప్పి, వాంతులు, తలనొప్పి, మైకము వంటి దుష్ప్రభావాలు ఉండవచ్చు.[1] తల్లిపాలను లేదా గర్భం మూడవ త్రైమాసికంలో వాడటం సిఫారసు చేయబడలేదు.[1] తీవ్రమైన దుష్ప్రభావాలు సంక్రమణ ప్రమాదాన్ని కలిగి ఉండవచ్చు.[2] ఇది యాంటీహెల్మింటిక్ ఔషధాల తరగతికి చెందినది.[2]
