జననం, విద్య[మార్చు]

రూపల్ పటేల్ 1974 లేదా 1975లో మహారాష్ట్ర రాజధాని బొంబాయిలోని గుజరాతీ కుటుంబంలో జన్మించింది. కామర్స్‌లో డిగ్రీతోపాటు న్యూఢిల్లీలోని నేషనల్ స్కూల్ ఆఫ్ డ్రామాలో నటనలో శిక్షణ పొందింది.[3][4]

1985–2009[మార్చు]

పిల్లల నాటకాల కోసం పనోరమా ఆర్ట్ థియేటర్స్ అనే నాటక సంస్థను ఏర్పాటుచేసింది.[1] రేపాల్ పటేల్ 1985లో మెహక్‌ అనే సినిమాలో చిన్న పాత్ర ద్వారా మొదట బాలీవుడ్‌ సినిమారంగంలోకి అడుగుపెట్టింది.[1] అంతర్నాద్ (1991), సూరజ్ కా సత్వన్ ఘోడా (1992), పపీహా (1993), మమ్మో (1994), సమర్ (1999) వంటి ఇతర బాలీవుడ్ చిత్రాలలో నటించింది.[3] వీటిలో కొన్ని చిత్రాలకు శ్యామ్ బెనగల్ దర్శకత్వం వహించారు.[6]

2001లో స్టార్ ప్లస్‌లో జరీనా మెహతా తీసిన షాగున్‌ సీరియల్ తో లఖీ పాత్ర ద్వారా హిందీ టెలివిజన్ పరిశ్రమలోకి ప్రవేశించింది.[7] 2002లో సౌ దాదా ససునాలో ఆశాలత పాత్రను, సోనీ ఎంటర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్ టెలివిజన్‌లో క్రైమ్ పెట్రోల్ అనే ప్రసిద్ధ క్రైమ్ థ్రిల్లర్ షో కొన్ని ఎపిసోడ్‌లలో నటించింది.[4] 2009లో కలర్స్ టివిలో[5] లిమిటెడ్ ప్రొడక్షన్ జానే క్యా బాత్ హుయ్‌లో వృందా పాత్రను పోషించింది.

2010–ప్రస్తుతం[మార్చు]

2010 నుండి 2017 వరకు స్టార్ ప్లస్‌లో వచ్చిన సాథ్ నిభానా సాథియాలో స్ట్రిక్ట్ కోకిల మోడీగా నటించి, తన నటనకు విపరీతమైన ప్రజాదరణ, ప్రశంసలు పొందింది.[8][9]

2019లో జీ టీవీలో ప్రతీక్ శర్మ తీసిన మన్మోహినిలో ఉష/కుబర్జ్రా పాత్రలో అతిథి పాత్రలో నటించింది.[10] 2019 మార్చి నుండి 2020 అక్టోబరు వరకు స్టార్ ప్లస్‌లో ప్రసారమైన డైరెక్టర్స్ కుట్ ప్రొడక్షన్స్ టెలివిజన్ షో యే రిష్టే హై ప్యార్ కేలో మీనాక్షి రాజ్‌వంశ్ కపాడియా బూడిద పాత్రను పోషించింది.[11][12]

2020 అక్టోబరులో యే రిష్టే హై ప్యార్ కే స్థానంలో సాథ్ నిభానా సాథియా 2 పేరుతో సాథ్ నిభానా సాథియా రెండవ సీజన్‌లో మళ్ళీ తన పాత్రను కోకిలా మోడీగా పోషించింది.[13][14] గ్యాంగ్స్ ఆఫ్ ఫిల్మిస్తాన్‌లో అతిథిగా నటించింది.[15]
