ద్రోణంరాజు కృష్ణారావు (జననం 1937 జనవరి 14) భారత దేశంలో జన్మించిన జన్యు, హౌస్టన్, టెక్సాస్ లో జన్యు రీసెర్చ్ ఫౌండేషన్ అధ్యక్షుడు. అతను భారతదేశం ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలో, పిఠాపురంలో జన్మించాడు. తన పనిలో ఒకటి JBS హాల్డేన్ యొక్క పరిశోధన పై దృష్టి పెట్టారు.

ద్రోణంరాజు విజయనగరం ఆంధ్రా యూనివర్సిటీలో MR కాలేజ్ వెళ్లి బ్యాచిలర్స్ డిగ్రీలో వృక్షశాస్త్రం పై అధ్యయనం1955 లో అధ్యయణం చేసారు. అతను 1957 లో ఆగ్రా విశ్వవిద్యాలయం నుండి మాస్టర్స్ పట్టా పొందారు. అతను వృక్ష, జన్యుశాస్త్రం అధ్యయనం చేసారు.
