వరుణ్ ధావన్ (జననం 24 ఏప్రిల్ 1987) బాలీవుడ్ కు చెందిన ప్రముఖ సినీనటుడు. దర్శకుడు డేవిడ్ ధావన్ కుమారుడు ఇతను. నాటిన్మం ట్రెంట్ విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో బిజినెస్ మేనేజ్మెంట్ చదువుకున్నారు  వరుణ్. 2010లో మై నేమ్ ఈజ్ ఖాన్ సినిమాకు  కరణ్ జోహార్ దగ్గర  సహాయ దర్శకునిగా పనిచేశారు. 2012లో కరణ్ దర్శకత్వంలో స్టూడెంట్ ఆఫ్ ది ఇయర్ సినిమాతో హీరోగా తెరంగేట్రం చేశారు ఆయన. ఈ సినిమాకి ఫిలింఫేర్ బెస్ట్ మేల్ డెబ్యూ నామినేషన్ పొందారు వరుణ్

ఆ తరువాత హంప్టీ శర్మాకీ దుల్హనియా (2014), ఎబిసిడి2 (2015) వంటి సినిమాల్లో నటించారు. ఎబిసిడి2 సినిమా ప్రపంచం మొత్తం మీద 1 బిలియన్ వసూళ్ళు సాధించింది. శ్రీరాం రాఘవన్ దర్శకత్వం వహించిన బద్లాపూర్ (2015) సినిమాతో ఫిలింఫేర్ ఉత్తమ నటుడు పురస్కారానికి నామినేషన్ పొందడమే కాక, విమర్శకుల ప్రశంసలు కూడా అందుకొంది.[1]

ధావన్ పంజాబీ హిందూ కుటుంబంలో 24 ఏప్రిల్ 1987న జన్మించారు. ఆయన తండ్రి ప్రముఖ దర్శకుడు డేవిడ్ ధావన్, తల్లి కరుణ ధావన్[2][3] యుకె లోని నాటిన్మం ట్రెంట్ విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో బిజినెస్ మేనేజ్మెంట్ చదువుకున్నారు.[4][5] నటునిగా కెరీర్ అటుంచితే, ధావన్ మొదట మై నేమ్ ఈజ్ ఖాన్ (2010) సినిమాకు సహాయ దర్శకునిగా  పనిచేశారు వరుణ్.[6]
