సిట్రిన్ లోరికీట్(ట్రైకొగ్లోస్సస్ ఫ్లావోవిరిడిస్) లేదా పసు ఆకుపచ్చ లోరికీట్అనేది ప్సిట్టాసిడాయే కుటుంబములోని ఒక జాతి చిలుక.ఇది ఇండోనేషియా లోని సులవేసి,సుల దీవులకు ప్రత్యేకమైనది.ఇది సముద్రమట్టానికి 2400మీ.ఎత్తు వరకూ అడవులలోనూ చెట్లతోపులలోనూ కనిపిస్తుంది.[1] It is generally common.[1]

సిట్రిన్ లోరికీట్ కి రెండు విభిన్నమైన ఉప ప్రజాతులు ఉన్నాయి:[2][3]
- ట్రైకొగ్లోస్సస్ ఫ్లావోవిరిడిస్ Wallace, 1863
- ట్రైకొగ్లోస్సస్ ఫ్లావోవిరిడిస్ ఫ్లావోవిరిడిస్ (nominate) Wallace, 1863 – సుల దీవులు.
- ట్రైకొగ్లోస్సస్ ఫ్లావోవిరిడిస్ మెయెరి Walden, 1871 – సులవేసి
వివరణ[మార్చు]
ముఖ్యంగా సిట్రిన్ లోరికీట్ అనేది 20సెం.మీ. లేదా 8 ఇంచులు పొడవుకల ఆకుపచ్చ చిలుక.[2] దాని ముక్కు నారింజ రంగులో ఉంటుంది.[2] దీని ఉపుప్రజాతులుగా చెప్పబడిన వాటిలో తల,ఛాతి పసుపు రంగులో ఉంటాయి.అసలు దానికి పసుపు చారలు గల ఆకుపచ్చ ఉంటుంది.నుదురు,ముక్కు వద్ద భాగం ముదురు రంగులో దాదాపు నలుపు రంగులో ఉంటుంది.చిన్నదైన మేయరి ఉప ప్రజాతికి ఛాతీ మీద పసుపు రంగుపై ఆకుపచ్చ చారలు ఉంటాయి.తల ఆలివ్ పచ్చ రంగులో ఉండి చెవుల వద్ద పసుపు రంగుకి మారుతుంది[4]
