సాగరిక (K-15) జలాంతర్గామి నుంచి ప్రయోగించే అణ్వాయుధ సామర్థ్యం గల బాలిస్టిక్ క్షిపణి. దీని పరిధి 750 కిలోమీటర్లు.[3] ఇది కె క్షిపణి కుటుంబానికి చెందినది. భారత అణ్వాయుధ త్రయంలో ఇది ఒక భాగం. ప్రత్యర్థులపై ప్రతీకార దాడులకు ఇది ఉపయోగపడుతుంది.[6]
అభివృద్ధి[మార్చు]
K-15 క్షిపణి అభివృద్ధి 1990 ల చివర్లో మొదలైంది. అరిహంత్ శ్రేణి జలాంతర్గాముల నుండి ప్రయోగించగల బాలిస్టిక్ క్షిపణిని తయారుచెయ్యడమే ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు లక్ష్యం.[7][8] హైదరాబాదులోని డిఫెన్స్ రిసెర్చి అండ్ డెవలప్‌మెంట్ ఆర్గనైజేషన్ (DRDO) యొక్క క్షిపణి ప్రాంగణంలో దీన్ని తయారుచేసారు.[9]
నీటి లోపలి నుండి ప్రయోగించగల క్షిపణి ప్రయోగ వేదిక, ప్రాజెక్ట్-420, ని తయారుచేసి పరీక్షల కోసం 2001 లో భారత నావికా దళానికి అందజేసారు. దీన్ని గుజరాత్ లోని హజీరాలో తయారుచేసారు.[10] సాగరిక క్షిపణిని అరిహంత్ జలాంతర్గామితో మేళవించి, నౌకాశ్రయ పరీక్షలు చెయ్యడం 2009 జూలై 26 న మొదలైంది.[11]
2008 నాటికి క్షిపణిని 7 సార్లు విజయవంతంగా పరీక్షించారు. నాలుగు సార్లు దాని పూర్తి పరిధిని పరీక్షించారు. 2008 ఫిబ్రవరి 26 న విశాఖపట్నంతీరప్రాంతంలో సముద్రంలో 50 మీటర్ల లోతున ఒక పాంటూన్ నుండి పరీక్షించారు.[7][9][12][13] 2008 నవంబరు 12 న భూమ్మీద నుండి ప్రయోగించగల సాగరికను విజయవతంగా ప్రయోగించారు.[14] 2012 మార్చి 11 న పూర్తి స్థాయి పరీక్ష జరిపారు.[15] 2013 జనవరి 27 న 12 వది, చిట్టచివరిదీ అయిన పరీక్షను జరిపారు. 'ఈ పరీక్ష అన్ని లక్ష్యాలను అత్యంత కచ్చితత్వంతో సాధించింది' అని DRDO డైరెక్టర్ జనరల్, వికె సరస్వత్ చెప్పాడు.[16] ఆ తరువాత క్షిపణిని అరిహంత్ లో చేర్చడానికి ప్రయత్నాలు మొదయ్యాయి.[17][18][19] 2015 నవంబరు 15 న ఆయుధాలు లేని డమ్మీ K-15 సాగరిక క్షిపణిని అరిహంత్ నుండి విజయవంతంగా పరీక్షించారు[20]. 2015 డిసెంబరులో సాగరిక ఉత్పత్తి మొదలైందని వార్తలు వచ్చాయి.[21]
