పూర్ణిమా దాస్ వర్మ (జననం మెహెర్బానో మహ్మద్ అలీ; 1934 మార్చి 2 - 2013 ఆగస్టు 14) ప్రధానంగా హిందీ భాషా చిత్రాలలో పనిచేసిన భారతీయ నటి.[2][3][4] ఆమె దర్శకుడు మహేష్ భట్ అత్త, నటుడు ఇమ్రాన్ హష్మికి అమ్మమ్మ.
వ్యక్తిగత జీవితం
[మార్చు]మెహెర్బానో మహ్మద్ అలీ 1934 మార్చి 2న జన్మించింది. ఆమె అక్క షిరిన్, దర్శకులు మహేష్ భట్, ముఖేష్ భట్ లకు తల్లి.[5] మెహెర్బానో మొదటి భర్త సయ్యద్ షౌకత్ హష్మి అనే పాత్రికేయుడు, అతను భారత విభజన సమయంలో పాకిస్తాన్ వలస వెళ్లాడు. ఈ మొదటి వివాహం నుండి ఆమెకు కుమారుడు, అన్వర్ హష్మి (ఇమ్రాన్ హష్మి తండ్రి) బహరోన్ కే మంజిల్ (1968) లో ఫరీదా జలాల్ సరసన నటించాడు.[4] 1954లో ఆమె చిత్రనిర్మాత భగవాన్ దాస్ వర్మను రెండవసారి వివాహం చేసుకుంది. మెహెర్బానో చిత్ర పరిశ్రమలోకి ప్రవేశించినప్పుడు తెర పేరు 'పూర్ణిమ' గా మార్చబడింది.
కెరీర్
[మార్చు]పూర్ణిమా 80కి పైగా బాలీవుడ్ చిత్రాలలో నటించింది.[4] ఆమె 1940ల చివరి నుండి 50ల వరకు హిందీ చిత్రాలలో ప్రముఖ నటిగా ఉంది. ఆమె అజయ్ దేవగన్ తొలి చిత్రం ఫూల్ ఔర్ కాంటే లో పాత్ర పోషించింది. ఆమె పతంగ (1949), జోగన్ (1950), సగాయ్ (1951) చిత్రాలలో నటించింది. ఆమె నామ్ చిత్రంలో సంజయ్ దత్కు అమ్మమ్మ పాత్రలో మెప్పించింది.[6] ఆమె జంజీర్ చిత్రంలో అమితాబ్ బచ్చన్ తల్లి పాత్రను కూడా పోషించింది.
మరణం
[మార్చు]పూర్ణిమ కొన్ని సంవత్సరాలపాటు అల్జీమర్స్ వ్యాధితో బాధపడుతూ 2013 ఆగస్టు 14న మరణించింది.[4][7][8]
