తెలుగులో వ్యాసాల పేర్లు రాసేటపుడు వాటిని పలు విధాలుగా రాయవచ్చు. ఉదాహరణకు రామప్ప దేవాలయం,రామప్ప దేవాయలము, రామప్ప గుడి, అన్న పేర్లు ఒకే వ్యాసాన్ని సూచిస్తాయి. మరిన్ని వివరాలకు వికీపీడియా:నామకరణ పద్ధతులు చూడండి. పదాంతంలో ము కు బదులుగా అనుస్వారం (ం) వాడడం వాడుకలోకి వచ్చింది. అది పాటించండి. అయినా ఇతర పేర్లుకూడా వాడుకలో వుంటే, ఒక పేరు మీద వ్యాసం రాసి మిగత అన్నీ పేజీలకు దారి మార్పు పేజీలను తయారు చేయవచ్చు. రామప్ప దేవాలయం అన్న పేరుతో అసలు వ్యాసం ఉంది. ఇప్పుడు రామప్ప గుడి పేజీని దారి మార్పు పేజీగా సృష్టించాలంటే ఆ పేజీలో#REDIRECT [[రామప్ప దేవాలయం]] అని ఉంచాలి.

2003 డిసెంబర్ 10న తెలుగు వికీపీడియా ప్రారంభమయింది. పది సంవత్సరాల ఈ ప్రయాణంలో ఎందరో ఔత్సాహికుల తోడ్పాటుతో యాభై వేల పైబడి వ్యాసాలతో భారతదేశంలోని అన్ని భాషలలో అధిక వ్యాసాలు కలిగిన భాషలలో ఒకటిగా నిలిచింది. ఇందుకు కారణం వికీపీడియాలో వ్యాసాలు రాస్తూ అభివృద్ధి పరుస్తున్న ఎందరో మహానుభావులు. వీరిలో విశేష కృషిచేసిన కొందరిని సత్కరించాలనీ, సమూహ సభ్యులు ఒకరినొకరు ప్రత్యక్షంగా కలవడం ద్వారా సమిష్టి కృషిలో పాల్గొనేందుకు మరింత స్ఫూర్తి దొరుకుతుందనే ఆశయంతో ఈ నెల (ఫిబ్రవరి) 15, 16 తేదీలలో దశాబ్ది సంబరాలుగా జరుపుకోబోతున్నాం.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఎందరో కొత్త ఔత్సాహికులకు వికీతో అనుబంధాన్ని ఏర్పరచి భావి వికీపీడియా:వికీపీడియనులుగా తీర్చిదిద్దాలని కోరికతో పలు కార్యక్రమాలు ఏర్పాటు చేశాం. వాటిలో మీరూ పాల్గొని కొత్త వారికి విజయవాడలోగల కే.బీ.యన్. కళాశాల వద్దనే ప్రత్యక్ష సహాయం చేస్తూ మార్గనిర్దేశం చేయాలని మా కోరిక, ప్రయాణం, వసతి [[1]] వంటివి ఏర్పాటు చేయబడినవి. కనుక ఇప్పటికీ నమోదు చేసుకొనకపోతే దయచేసి పైన గల సైటునోటీసు[[2]] ద్వారా మీ వివరాలు నమోదుచేసుకొంటే మాకు ఏర్పాట్లకు అంచనా ఏర్పడుతుంది.

ఈ మంచి అవకాశాన్ని ఉపయోగించుకొని వికీ మిత్రులంతా సహకరించి కార్యక్రమం విజయవంతం చేసి భావితరాలకు వికీ మార్గదర్శినిగా ఉండేలా చేయాలని మా కోరిక
