అతి సమీప ఛాయాచిత్రకళ (Macro photography (or photomacrography[1] or macrography,[2] and sometimes macrophotography[3]) అతి సమీపంగా ఉన్న అతి చిన్న వస్తువులను తీసే ఛాయాచిత్రకళ. దీనిని ఫ్రిజ్ గోరో (Fritz Goro),[4] మొదటిసారిగా ఉపయోగించాడు. దీనిలో వస్తువు యొక్క నిజ పరిమాణం కన్నా పెద్దదిగా చూపించడానికి ఉపయోగిస్తారు.[2][5] By some definitions, a macro photograph is one in which the size of the subject on the negative or image sensor is life size or greater.[6] However in other uses it refers to a finished photograph of a subject at greater than life size.[7]
