బ్రెజిల్ (అధికార నామము: ఫెడరేటివ్ రిపబ్లిక్ ఆఫ్ బ్రెజిల్) దక్షిణ అమెరికాలోని ఒక దేశము. వైశాల్యం రీత్యా ప్రపంచములోనే ఐదవ అతిపెద్ద దేశమైన బ్రెజిల్, దక్షిణ అమెరికా భూభాగములో దాదాపు సగం విస్తీర్ణాన్ని కైలిగి ఉంటుంది. జనాభా లెక్కల రీత్యా కూడా ప్రపంచములోనే ఐదవ అతిపెద్ద దేశమైన బ్రెజిల్, నాల్గవ అతిపెద్ద ప్రజాస్వామ్య దేశంగా ఉంది. తూర్పున అట్లాంటిక్ మహాసముద్రం ఉన్న బ్రెజిల్ సముద్ర తీరం పొడవు 7,491 కిలోమీటర్ల పైబడి ఉన్నది.
1500 సంవత్సరము నుండి 1822లో స్వాతంత్ర్యము పొందేవరకు బ్రెజిల్ పోర్చుగల్ పరిపాలనలో ఉంది. బ్రెజిల్ ఐక్య రాజ్య సమితి స్థాపక దేశాలలో ఒకటి.
