భారతదేశంలోని డైరెక్టరేట్ ఆఫ్ ఫిల్మ్ ఫెస్టివల్స్ ఏటా అందించే జాతీయ చలనచిత్ర అవార్డులలో సంపూర్ణ వినోదాన్ని అందించే ఉత్తమ ప్రజాదరణ పొందిన చిత్రం జాతీయ చలనచిత్ర పురస్కారం ఒకటి. దీనిని 1975 సంవత్సరంలో ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. జాతీయ చలనచిత్ర పురస్కారాలలో భాగంగా ఇవ్వబడే స్వర్ణ కమల పురస్కారాలలో ఇది ఒకటి. ఏడాది పొడవునా దేశవ్యాప్తంగా అన్ని భారతీయ భాషలలో నిర్మించే చిత్రాలకు దీనిని ప్రకటిస్తారు.
