మనీష్ నర్వాల్(జననం 2001 అక్టోబరు 17) భారతదేశానికి చెందిన పారాలింపియాన్. 10 మీటర్ల పారా పిస్టల్ షూటింగ్ విభాగంలో ప్రపంచంలో నాల్గొవ ర్యాంకు క్రీడాకారుడు. గోస్పోర్ట్స్ ఫౌండేషన్ ఇతనికి సహాయ సంస్థగా ఉంది.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]

కెరీర్[మార్చు]

నర్వాల్ 2016లో హర్యానా రాష్ట్ర ఫరీదాబాద్ పట్టణంలో తన షూటింగ్ శిక్షణ ప్రారంభించాడు. 2021 పారా షూటింగ్ వరల్డ్ కప్లో p4 మిక్సీడ్ 50 మీ పోటీలో స్వర్ణ పతకం సాధించాడు. ఇంకా చాలా ఇతర జాతీయ అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయి పోటీలలో స్వర్ణ, రజత, కాంస్య పతకాలు సాధించాడు.

షూటింగ్ క్రీడలో కనబరిచిన అత్యుత్తమ ప్రతిభకుగాను నర్వాల్ కు 2020 లో భారత ప్రభుత్వం అర్జున అవార్డుతో సత్కరించింది. మనీశ్‌ నర్వాల్‌ 13 నవంబర్ 2021న రాష్ట్రపతి రామ్‌నాథ్‌ కోవింద్‌ చేతులమీదుగా ‘మేజర్‌ ధ్యాన్‌చంద్‌ ఖేల్‌రత్న’ అవార్డును అందుకున్నాడు.[8]
