తిరుపత్తూరు జిల్లా (లేదా తిరుపాతూర్ జిల్లా) (ఆంగ్లం:Tirupattur District) భారతదేశం తమిళనాడు రాష్ట్రం లోని జిల్లాలలో ఇది ఒకటి. వెల్లూర్ జిల్లా నుండి వేరుచేయబడి కొత్త జిల్లాగా ఏర్పాటు చేశారు [2][3] రాణిపేట జిల్లాతో కలిసి 2019 ఆగస్టు 15 న తమిళనాడు ప్రభుత్వం దీనిని ప్రకటించింది. తిరుపత్తూరు పట్టణం జిల్లా ప్రధాన కేంద్రంగా పనిచేస్తుంది.[4][5][6][7][8]
భౌగోళికం[మార్చు]
జిల్లాకు ఈశాన్యంలో వెల్లూరు జిల్లా, నైరుతి దిశలో కృష్ణగిరి జిల్లా , ఆగ్నేయంలో తిరువణ్ణామలై జిల్లా, వాయువ్య సరిహద్దులో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోని చిత్తూరు జిల్లా ఉన్నాయి. జాతీయ రహదారి 48 ఈ జిల్లా గుండా వెళుతుంది.
విభాగాలు[మార్చు]
వెల్లూరు జిల్లాలోని మూడు నైరుతి తాలూకాలు: తిరుపత్తూరు, వాణియంబాడి, అంబూర్‌లను విభజించడం ద్వారా తిరుపత్తూరు జిల్లా సృష్టించబడింది.[9] జిల్లాలో ఇప్పుడు నాట్రంపల్లితో కలిపి మొత్తం నాలుగు తాలూకాలు ఉన్నాయి.[10]
రాజకీయం[మార్చు]
ఈ జిల్లాలో తిరుప్పత్తూరు - వెల్లూర్ అనే శాసనసభ నియోజకవర్గం అభ్యర్థిగా 2016 నుండి తమిళనాడు శాసనసభలో డిఎంకె పార్టీకి చెందిన నల్లతంబి ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహిస్తున్నాడు[11] అతను 2021లో తిరిగి ఎన్నికయ్యాడు.[12][13]
