చరిత్ర[మార్చు]

1989లో ఈ ప్రాంతం పశ్చిమ సియాంగ్ జిల్లా నుండి కొంత భూభాగం వేరు చేసి తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లా రూపొందించబడింది.[3] ఒక దశాబ్ధం తరువాత 1999లో తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లాలో కొంత భూభాగం వేరు చేసి ఎగువ సియాంగ్ జిల్లా రూపొందించబడింది.[3]

భౌగోళికం[మార్చు]

తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లా కేంద్రంగా పసిఘాట్ పట్టణం ఉంది. జిల్లా వైశాల్యం 4,005 చ.కి.మీ.[4] జిల్లా వైశాల్యం ఇండోనేషియా లోని నియాస్ ద్వీపం వైశాల్యానికి సమానం.[5]

పరిపాలనను సులభతరం చేయడానికి, తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లా 15 సర్కిల్‌లుగా విభజించబడింది (తాలూకా/తహసిల్/తహశీల్) ఇవి ఉప-జిల్లాలను సూచించే పరిపాలనా విభాగాలు. సర్కిల్‌లు బహుళ గ్రామాలు, కొన్ని పట్టణాలను కలిగి ఉంటాయి.[7]

తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లాలో 5 అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గాలు ఉన్నాయి: పాంగింగ్, నరి-కొయు, పశ్చిమ పసిఘాట్, తూర్పు పసిఘాట్, మెబొ. ఇవన్నీ అరుణాచల్ తూర్పు లోక్‌సభ నియోజకవర్గంలో భాగంగా ఉన్నాయి.[8]

జనాభా గణాంకాలు (2011)[మార్చు]

2011 భారత జనాభా లెక్కల ప్రకారం అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్‌లోని తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లాలో మొత్తం జనాభా 99,214. వీరిలో 50,116 మంది పురుషులు కాగా, 49,098 మంది మహిళలు ఉన్నారు.[9] జిల్లా పరిధిలో మొత్తం 19,107 కుటుంబాలు ఉన్నాయి. తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లా సగటు లింగ నిష్పత్తి 980.

జిల్లా మొత్తం జనాభాలో 27.9% మంది పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో నివసిస్తుండగా, 72.1% మంది గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లో నివసిస్తున్నారు. పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో సగటు అక్షరాస్యత రేటు 80.1% కాగా, గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లో 69.6% ఉంది. జిల్లాలోని పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల లింగ నిష్పత్తి 978 కాగా గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల వారిది 980గా ఉంది

0-6 సంవత్సరాల వయస్సు గల పిల్లల జనాభా 12955, ఇది మొత్తం జనాభాలో 13%గా ఉంది. 0-6 సంవత్సరాల మధ్య 6517 మంది మగ పిల్లలు ఉండగా, 6438 మంది ఆడ పిల్లలు ఉన్నారు. పిల్లల లింగ నిష్పత్తి 988, ఇది తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లాలోని సగటు లింగ నిష్పత్తి (980) కంటే ఎక్కువ.

తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లా మొత్తం అక్షరాస్యత రేటు 72.54%. తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లాలో పురుషుల అక్షరాస్యత రేటు 68.26%, స్త్రీల అక్షరాస్యత రేటు 57.77%.

భాషలు[మార్చు]

జిల్లాలో ఆది, సినో-టిబెటన్ భాషలు వాడుకలో ఉన్నాయి. ఈ భాషను దాదాపు 1,40,000 మంది మాట్లాడుతున్నారు. ఇది టిబెటన్, లాటిన్ లిపిలో వ్రాయబడుతుంది.[10] తరువాత స్థానంలో గాలో (అంతరించి పోతున్న భాష) ఉంది. ఇది సినో-టిబెటన్ కుటుంబానికి చెందిన భాష.[11]

1978లో జిల్లాలో 190 చ.కి.మీ వైశాల్యంలో " డీ' ఎరింగ్ మెమోరియల్ (లాలి) శాంక్చ్యురీ " ఏర్పాటు చేయబడింది. [12]
