జనాభా వివరాలు
[మార్చు]2011 జనాభా లెక్కల ప్రకారం, మండలంలో జనాభా 50,252 ఉంది. జనాభా మొత్తంలో పురుషులు 25,134 మంది, మహిళలు 25,118 మంది ఉన్నారు. 1000 మంది పురుషులకు 999 మంది మహిళలు ఉన్నట్టు లింగ నిష్పత్తి సూచిస్తుంది. ఈ జనాభా లెక్కల ప్రకారం 0-6 సంవత్సరాల వయస్సు గల 4,344 మంది పిల్లలలో 2,281 మంది బాలురు, 2,063 మంది బాలికలు ఉన్నారు. ఈ మండలంలో 32,436 మంది అక్షరాస్యులు ఉన్నారు. దీని అక్షరాస్యత రేటు సగటున 70.65% వద్ద ఉంది.[5][6]
పరిపాలన
[మార్చు]భట్టిప్రోలు మండలం ఏపీసిఆర్డిఎ అధికార పరిధిలోని ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాజధాని ప్రాంతంలో ఉంది.[7] ఇది తహసీల్దార్ నియంత్రణలో ఉంది. దీని ప్రస్తుత తహసీల్దార్ దువ్వూరి సుబ్బారావు.[8] వేమూరు (ఎస్సీ) అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గం కింద ఉన్న 5 మండలాల్లో భట్టిప్రోలు మండలం కూడా ఒకటి. ఈ నియోజకవర్గం ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రం, బాపట్ల (ఎస్సి) లోక్సభ నియోజకవర్గంలో భాగం.[9]
