2022 భారత రాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నికలలో జాతీయ ప్రజాస్వామ్య కూటమికి వ్యతిరేకంగా పోరాడేందుకు, పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి, తృణమూల్ కాంగ్రెస్ అధినేత, మమతా బెనర్జీ ఉమ్మడి ప్రతిపక్షంగా ఈ ఎన్నికల పొత్తును ప్రతిపాదించారు.[10]

2022 అధ్యక్ష ఎన్నికలు

ఉమ్మడి ప్రతిపక్షం 2022 భారత రాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నికలకు తమ రాష్ట్రపతి అభ్యర్థిగా మాజీ విదేశాంగ మంత్రి, మాజీ ఆర్థిక మంత్రి, తృణమూల్ కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకుడు యశ్వంత్ సిన్హాను ప్రతిపాదించింది. తర్వాత జార్ఖండ్ ముక్తి మోర్చా (జెఎంఎం), బహుజన్ సమాజ్ పార్టీ (బి.ఎస్.పి), తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ (టిడిపి), శివసేన (ఎస్.ఎస్) రెండు వర్గాలు రాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నికలకు బదులుగా జాతీయ ప్రజాస్వామ్య కూటమి ప్రతిపాదించిన అభ్యర్థి ద్రౌపది ముర్ముకి మద్దతు ఇచ్చాయి.[11] ఈ ఎన్నికల్లో సిన్హా రెండో స్థానంలో నిలిచారు.

ఉమ్మడి ప్రతిపక్షం 2022 భారత ఉపరాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నికలకు తమ ఉపరాష్ట్రపతి అభ్యర్థిగా ఉత్తరాఖండ్, రాజస్థాన్ రాష్టాల మాజీ గవర్నర్, మాజీ కేంద్ర మంత్రి, కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకురాలు మార్గరెట్ అల్వాను ప్రతిపాదించింది. అయితే, విపి అభ్యర్థిని ప్రకటించే ముందు ఇతర పార్టీలు సంప్రదింపులు లేదా సమ్మతి తీసుకోకపోవడం వల్ల పార్టీ పరువుకు భంగం వాటిల్లడంతో ప్రతిపక్షానికి చెందిన ప్రముఖ పార్టీ ఎఐటిసి ఓటింగ్‌కు దూరంగా ఉండాలని నిర్ణయించుకుంది.[14] [15] [16] ఈ ఎన్నికల్లో ఆల్వా రెండో స్థానంలో నిలిచింది.
