మాల్దా లోక్‌సభ నియోజకవర్గం పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్‌ రాష్ట్రంలోని పూర్వ లోక్‌సభ నియోజకవర్గాలలో ఒకటి. ఈ నియోజకవర్గం 2002లో ఏర్పాటైన డీలిమిటేషన్ కమిషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా సిఫార్సుల ఆధారంగా లోక్‌సభ నియోజకవర్గాల పునర్విభజనలో భాగంగా 2008లో భాగంగా రద్దు చేయబడింది. ఈ నియోజకవర్గం ఆ తరువాత మాల్దాహా దక్షిణ్ & మల్దహా ఉత్తర నియోజకవర్గాలుగా ఏర్పడాయి.

[మార్చు]సిట్టింగ్ సభ్యుడు అబూ బర్కత్ అతౌర్ ఘనీ ఖాన్ చౌదరి మరణంతో ఈ నియోజకవర్గంలో 13 సెప్టెంబర్ 2006న ఉప ఎన్నిక జరిగింది . ఉప ఎన్నికలో కాంగ్రెస్‌కు చెందిన అబూ హసేం ఖాన్ చౌదరి తన సమీప ప్రత్యర్థి సీపీఐ(ఎం)కి చెందిన సైలెన్ సర్కార్‌పై 84,391 ఓట్లతో విజయం సాధించారు.
