స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా అనేది భారతీయ వామపక్ష విద్యార్థి సంస్థ. ఇది రాజకీయంగా స్వేచ్ఛ, ప్రజాస్వామ్యం, సోషలిజం సిద్ధాంతాలకు అనుగుణంగా ఉందని పేర్కొంది. ప్రస్తుతం, అఖిల భారత అధ్యక్షుడిగా విపి సాను, ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శిగా మయూఖ్ బిస్వాస్ ఎన్నికయ్యారు.[1]

చరిత్ర

1936 ఆగస్టు 12న సామ్రాజ్యవాద వ్యతిరేక రాజకీయాల కోసం ఆలిండియా స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఏర్పాటుతో దాని వ్యవస్థీకృత రూపంలో భారతీయ విద్యార్థుల ఉద్యమం మూలాన్ని గుర్తించవచ్చు.[2] భారతీయ సమాజ విశ్లేషణ, భారత రాజ్య స్వభావం, విద్యార్థుల పట్ల దాని వైఖరికి సంబంధించి 1940-1950ల నుండి, ఆలిండియా స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్లో అనేక సైద్ధాంతిక చర్చలు జరిగాయి. ఆలిండియా స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్లో ఇప్పటికే ఉన్న ప్రధానమైన దృక్పథాన్ని వ్యతిరేకిస్తూ, ప్రగతిశీల ముగింపు అని పిలవబడే దిశగా దేశం పాలకవర్గాలతో సహకరించడానికి, రాజీపడేందుకు బలమైన అభిప్రాయం ఏర్పడింది. ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న విద్యావ్యవస్థను ప్రగతిశీలంగా మార్చే లక్ష్యంతో విద్యార్థి ఉద్యమాల్లో మిలిటెన్సీకి పిలుపునిచ్చారు. ఆలిండియా స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్లోని అసమ్మతి వర్గాల మధ్య రాజకీయ విభేదాలు అభివృద్ధి చెందడంతో, విద్యార్థుల సమస్యలపై వారి నిర్లక్ష్యంతోపాటు, అది స్వతంత్రంగా పని చేయడం ప్రారంభించిన అనేక స్థానిక సంస్థలుగా విడిపోయింది. 1970లో, అటువంటి సంస్థల ప్రతినిధులు కొత్త జాతీయ విద్యార్థుల సంస్థను ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు తిరువనంతపురంలో ఒక సమావేశాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. డిసెంబరు 27 నుండి 30 వరకు అఖిల భారత సదస్సు జరిగింది, ఫలితంగా స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా ఏర్పడింది.[3][4] మొదటి సమావేశం నుండి ఎన్నికైన నాయకత్వాలలో సి. బాస్కరన్, (మొదటి అధ్యక్షుడు), బిమన్ బోస్ (మొదటి ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి), శ్యామల్ చక్రవర్తి, బల్దేవ్ సింగ్, బాబు భరద్వాజ్, రంజన్ గోస్వామి, మాణిక్ సర్కార్, ఎన్. రామ్, సుభాష్ చక్రవర్తి, ఉమేంద్ర ప్రసాద్ సింగ్ ఉన్నారు., పి మధు, శక్తిధర్ దాస్ ఉన్నారు.

స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా 24 రాష్ట్ర కమిటీలను కలిగి ఉంది. స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా సంవత్సరాలుగా భారతదేశం అంతటా వివిధ విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలలో విద్యార్థి సంఘాలను నడిపించింది, వీటిలో:

జాతీయ విద్యా విధానం, 2019[27] ఫీజుల పెంపు,[28][29] [30] ఐఐటీలలో రిజర్వ్‌డ్ విద్యార్థులకు తక్కువ ప్రాతినిధ్యం కల్పించడాన్ని స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా నిరసించింది.[31]

స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా సభ్యులు పాల్గొని 2019లో బహుళ పౌరసత్వ సవరణ చట్టం నిరసనలను నిర్వహించారు.[32][33][34] అటువంటి నిరసనలో స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా పార్లమెంటుకు మార్చ్ చేసింది.[35] అంతేకాకుండా, ఈ చట్టాన్ని వ్యతిరేకిస్తూ ఎస్‌ఎఫ్‌ఐ సుప్రీంకోర్టును కూడా ఆశ్రయించింది.[36][37] [38]


భారతదేశంలో కరోనా-19 లాక్‌డౌన్ సమయంలో,[39] స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్‌లోని[40] మహిళా విద్యార్థులకు శానిటరీ న్యాప్‌కిన్‌లను పంపిణీ చేసింది. హిమాచల్ ప్రదేశ్‌లోని అవసరమైన వస్తువులలో వాటిని చేర్చాలని డిమాండ్ చేసింది. ఒంటరిగా ఉన్న విద్యార్థులకు సహాయం చేయడానికి స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా వివిధ రాష్ట్రాల్లో కరోనా-19 హెల్ప్‌లైన్ నంబర్‌లను ఏర్పాటు చేసింది.[41] తప్పుడు సమాచారాన్ని ఎదుర్కోవడానికి, వివిధ ప్రదేశాలలో వలస కార్మికులను చేరుకోవడానికి, స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా "మై డియర్ ఫ్రెండ్" పేరుతో ప్రచారాన్ని ప్రారంభించింది, ఇక్కడ ప్రభుత్వ వనరుల నుండి ధృవీకరించబడిన సమాచారం వివిధ భారతీయ భాషలలోకి అనువదించబడుతుంది, సోషల్ మీడియా ద్వారా ప్రసారం చేయబడుతుంది.[41] వివిధ స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా కమిటీలచే ఆన్‌లైన్ ఆర్ట్ ఫెస్టివల్స్, లెక్చర్ సిరీస్, ఆన్‌లైన్ తరగతులు కూడా నిర్వహించబడ్డాయి.[42][43][44] స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా ఫేస్ మాస్క్‌లు, హ్యాండ్ శానిటైజర్‌లను కూడా ఉత్పత్తి చేసింది. భారతదేశంలో ప్రైవేట్ కోచింగ్ సెంటర్లను నియంత్రించడం కోసం స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా కోర్టు కేసులను గెలుచుకుంది.[45] యూనివర్సిటీ విద్యార్థులకు ఫెలోషిప్‌లు, స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌ల జాప్యానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా ఉద్యమాలు కూడా చేశారు.[46]

స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా, DYFI కార్యకర్తలు సంయుక్తంగా 1.5 పోస్ట్ చేసారు. భారతదేశంలోని ముస్లింలు, దళితులు, ఇతర మైనారిటీలపై జరిగిన హత్యలను ఖండించిన 49 మంది ప్రముఖులపై దేశద్రోహం కోసం ప్రథమ సమాచార నివేదిక (ఎఫ్‌ఐఆర్) నమోదు చేసిన తర్వాత ప్రధానమంత్రి కార్యాలయానికి లక్ష (150,000) లేఖలు వచ్చాయి. భారతదేశంలోని పౌరులందరికీ సార్వత్రిక ఉచిత టీకాను అందించాలని, కోవిడ్-19 మహమ్మారి సమయంలో వ్యక్తిగత ఉపయోగం కోసం ఉపయోగించే ఆక్సిజన్ కాన్సంట్రేటర్ల దిగుమతిపై విధించిన వస్తువులు, సేవా పన్నును మినహాయించాలని కోరుతూ స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా సుప్రీంకోర్టును ఆశ్రయించింది.[50][51]

స్టూడెంట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా, DYFI, కమ్యూనిస్ట్ పార్టీ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా (మార్క్సిస్ట్) యువజన విభాగంతో పాటు రెడ్ వాలంటీర్స్, శ్రామాజీబీ క్యాంటీన్‌లను నిర్వహిస్తుంది. వివిధ సామాజిక కార్యక్రమాలలో పాల్గొంటుంది.[52][53]

2017 జనవరి 27 నుండి 29 వరకు, 5వ అఖిల భారత బాలికల సమ్మేళనం విజయవాడ, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో జరిగింది. ఇది 23 మంది సభ్యులతో కూడిన బాలికల సబ్‌కమిటీని ఎన్నుకుంది.[54]
